IO Industries has developed a solution to record from the PHOTRON FASTCAM 1024 PCI. This is the world's fastest direct to disk DVR system for a single camera head. At 1k x 1k x 1000fps in 10bit mode, the system records at 1250 MBytes per second. The duration of recording is only limited by the size of the storage array. With a typical 3U storage array of (16) SATA disks, this system can record uncompressed for over 3.5 hours.
