Customers in the entertainment industry typically use IO Industries recorder systems for keyframe animation. The DVR Express hardware allows for extreme accuracy when synchronizing the many cameras used to build up the keyframes. A single DVR Express CLSAS card can record from as many as four cameras at 1920 x 1080 at 60 frames per second. With three CLSAS cards in a single PC, this accounts for synchronized recording from twelve HD cameras. This principle has been used with IO Industries products for use in Hollywood motion pictures, as well as video game design.
