Building on the success of the DVR Express Core Series, IO Industries is happy to announce the next generation models with greatly increased performance and value - the DVR Express Core 2!
(London, ON) October 15, 2015 - Models supporting the Camera Link interface are now shipping, with the new models supporting other interfaces to be introduced later this year.
The DVR Express Core 2 Camera Link replaces the popular DVR Express Core Camera Link Base as well as the DVR Express Core Camera Link Full. This model is capable of recording up to 4 CL-Base cameras, or one CL-Full camera (plus two CL-Base cameras). Additionally, this model replaces the DVR Express Core Camera Link Base In/Out, which was the first device to support uncompressed long-duration recording as well as simulation of Camera Link Base sources. The DVR Express Core 2 Camera Link Base now supports recording and simulation of 2 CL-Base cameras from the same DVR, allowing pairs of cameras to be recorded and simulated for advanced testing and algorithm development applications.
The DVR Express Core 2 Camera Link Plus offers the same capabilities as the DVR Express Core 2 Camera Link model, with the added capability of recording 2 CL-Full cameras simultaneously, at rates of up to 1620MB/s combined! As well, for the first time, CL-Full simulation is possible, allowing high-speed cameras to be recorded and re-played via CL-Full into processing systems and other real-time analysis devices.
